We’re excited to share some updates on the development of the GTN 750Xi! We’re currently in the process of testing and finalizing the pre-production prototypes, with plans to begin full production in February 2025.
While the GTN 750Xi won’t be quite as plug-and-play as some of our other units initially, it will still provide an incredible experience. For now, it will require using the pop-out Manager until full touch support is implemented in MSFS. Additionally, the GTN 750Xi will need the GTN 750 add-on, but the good news is that this means it will be compatible with nearly any aircraft. The TDS GTN 750, a high-fidelity add-on that closely mirrors the real-world GTN unit, offers many fantastic features, and we’re already collaborating closely with the TDS team to ensure seamless integration.
We’ve included some renders, as well as a sneak peek of the physical prototype. While the prototype is 3D-printed, the final production version will be made from injection-molded plastic with a premium finish. We wanted to share the physical unit with you, as the render is just a digital mock-up, while the prototype is an actual, hands-on version.
By the way, we’ve also added the GTN 750Xi to our website. If you enter your email on the product page, you’ll be notified as soon as it’s available. I’ll also continue posting updates here, so be sure to stay tuned!
