GNS 530 with other aircraft and pop out automation

Hello our association has an aircraft simulator under fs2020, and we recently acquired the gns530 product. It works well when an aircraft with fs2020en is equipped because we then move from our fs2020 the image that we bring to the gns screen. But what to do if the plane is not equipped with a gns530? It is also tedious to always move the image from the simulator to the screen. How to always record the image of this one on the gns530 screen?
Many thanks

Hi Pascalmou,

The GNS 530 units can only be used with aircraft which has either GNS 530 or GNS 430. The other planes have different avionics stacks.

For the need to pop out the units in the sim, we agree it takes one extra steps and its not yet automated in MSFS 2020 or 2024. We do believe it will be automated at some point but for now there is also a popout manager tool available (free) to automate this process. Please see a link below.

Too bad we can't use the 530 in a plane that isn't equipped with it.
I'm aware of the pop-up on Flightsim.io, but I'm having a little trouble understanding how it works.
However, I saw a GNS530 mod on GitHub, and I wonder if this mod could work without the plane being equipped with GNS530.
You can find it at this address if you don't know it: https://github.com/pimarc/pms50-gns530

The GNS 530 mod listed is an enhancement to the default GNS 530 (as listed in the description on GitHub) so you still need to have the GNS 530 in the plane.

I wouldn't use the PMS50 GNS530 any more. That was an enhancement created before Working Title was brought in to improve the default Avionics in MSFS 2020 / 2024. The default GNS 530 should be more up to date as the PMS50 mod is no longer being supported.
