Would be nice if the Touchscreen feature actually did anything! Otherwise a nice unit, just don't waste money on touchscreen option

Sorry to hear you seems like having an issue setting up your touchscreen functionality. There are great instructions on the website and videos online, however you can always reach out to out support team via the website (click "Contact us" on the top menu) and they will guide you through the process.

Oh Do Tell, What Videos would these Be??? Cause everything FSB puts out shows it working with out ANY showing of how he got it working?

Had the printout of that before I even unboxed the unit. I have followed the steps listed in touchscreen configuration at Least 20 times. Touch screen is working as I can close the MFD window after I pop it out with ALT plus click on MFD screen It just does not do Anything to the G1000 in the airplane by touching screen. No Zoom , No interaction Thank goodness the buttons all work, but could have saved myself $400 by getting a strait G1000 if the Touchscreen doesn't work in sim. I am using MSFS 2020, I have 2024 but don't even want to go down that path if it can't work in 2020

I see what is confusion. G1000 is not a touchscreen avionics, it doesn't have any touch funcion.

If you want to use touchscreen, you can use TDS GTN 750Xi and/or G3X. We will also be adding G600Xi as a native options (the same as Steam Gauges) next month.

No worries—it's an understandable mistake. The touchscreen hardware option is intended only for avionics that are touchscreen-capable in the real world. The G1000 NXi is not a touchscreen system.

However, enabling this option allows you to use the same hardware with other touchscreen avionics. These are marked with "Touch Support" annotations on the product page. I hope it helps.

Popout-Based Avionics
  • G1000
  • G1000 NXi
  • G3X (Touch Support)
Native (Data-Driven) Avionics
  • Steam Gauges – Piston Single (e.g., Cessna 172)
  • Steam Gauges – Complex/High-Performance (e.g., Bonanza, C210)
  • G600 TXi (Touch Support) Basic (Coming September)
Third-Party Integrations
  • TDS GTN 750 / 650 (Touch Support)
And more coming soon...

Well after one successful flight yesterday, start the sim this morning FSbuilder Launcher only see's my Old G1000 no G100TNxi. After multiple boots and USB cable and Port changes Windows finally detects the device with the following: Unknown USB Device Device Descriptor Request Failed. I put in contact request but no contact from FSB yet. Seems like this product is nowhere the quality of my old G1000. Very Disappointed to have spent almost a grand for a tiny monitor!

Hi Austin,

It sounds like you're experiencing a USB port issue—this is quite common with flight sim peripherals, especially as more devices are added. We strongly recommend using a powered USB hub (but avoid cheap ones). We've had excellent success with this adapter; it's become something of an industry standard in the flight sim community.

Regarding the new TNxi units, they share the same core electronics as the Gen1 models but include a few additional components. The Gen1 units have proven to be extremely reliable, and that hardware foundation remains solid in the TNxi.

On the topic of value: the touchscreen TNxi is priced at $850, while the only comparable competitor’s touchscreen unit costs over $2,000 per device. Additionally, they charge around $2,000 for a native avionics package, whereas we include native avionics at no extra cost, and we continue to add new profiles for free.

As for support—when did you reach out? If you have a support ticket number, please share it here and I’ll personally follow up. Our support team aims to respond within 1–2 business days, and in most cases, we’re able to help the same day.

Based on your previous messages, it sounds like there may have been some misunderstanding around the TNxi’s functionality—and that’s totally okay! We offer a 30-day return policy, so if the unit is still in new condition, you’re welcome to return it. Just contact our support team, and they’ll provide the return instructions.

With the TNxi, we’re offering commercial-grade hardware and software at consumer-level pricing. It’s a great fit for many users, but we understand it may not be the right solution for everyone—and that’s perfectly fine too.

Not new to this, I have 3 powered USB Hubs (7Amp) this thing won't even register in windows being the ONLY USB device other than keyboard and mouse. I have built my own over airbus and boeing panels. Also airbus Lower ECAM Panel, Various switch panels. Understand that that would be your first thought, but I'm Way above that level. 1st ticket Via Contact US was submitted Tuesday Aug12th, 2nd ticket was submitted today after it would not be recognized again in windows.

This is a great looking setup! Great job. Please let me know the ticket number as I don't see anybody with AustinAME name :)

So, I have my new G1000 TNxi panels installed and the popouts are working, but I have two questions.

1. I have G1000 #1 configured as a G3X Touch, but I G1000 #2 doesn't have the option to also set as G3X Touch. The FS2020 aircraft in use is the Asobo King Air 350i, which uses G3X for both the PFD and MFD. How do I get both units to configure for G3X Touch.

2. That said, I have configured the touch settings in FSB HUB but neither the PFD nor MFD recognize any touch screen presses.

Any ideas as to how I can get these 2 issues resolved?

1. You are correct, we didn't account the scenario with two g3x. It should be a quick fix though and will be pushed with the next update
2. Are you using with G3X? It requires two things for G3X a) configure touch via the Hub b) use popout manager in MSFS 2020 and click on a hand icon to enable touch there
