Push to Sync HDG does not work

Yes, I am using the most recent Hub for X-Plane, the orange Icon.

Yesterday I did some more troubleshooting, by testing it on the MFD by switching to Display Backup (the red button on the audio panel). I am able to enter the encoder speed mode on this display but push to sync HDG is not working either.

I set the max speed in the encoder to 5 (it could have been at max already, but I wanted to make sure), since higher values are not accepted in X-Plane 12.

I also confirmed I am on the most recent firmware v 02.1 and hardware 2.0

The encoder speed should not be changed if using the Hub, the higher values are not accepted in X-Plane 12 default controls mapping but since we are using the Hub, it uses direct communication. I would recommend reinstalling the hub, and just follow the below instructions for X-Plane

IV. X-Plane

1. Download FlightSimBuilder Hub

2. Run Setup, this will install the launcher and create a link on desktop

3. Run X-Plane Launcher (orange icon) from Desktop

Note: If you experience issues with the buttons, open the X-Plane controls configuration and ensure that all assignments for the GNS 530 are set to “Do Nothing.” If you see any mappings, either click “Reset to Defaults” (bottom left) or manually change them to “Do Nothing.” The Hub already manages all inputs for lag-free response, so any active mappings in X-Plane may cause duplicate button presses.

I had already reinstalled the Hub, but I downloaded and installed it again. When prompted to update to a new release, I went ahead and did that as well.
I'm not sure what you mean about the GNS530, as I'm not using it or any aircraft equipped with it. However, the Push to Sync HDG feature is still not functioning.
