Suggestion for future updates of the FlightSimBuilder Launcher..

Hello FlightSimBuilder Team,

May I suggest that whenever you release an update to your software or the firmware of your peripherals, you post on the forum what has been modified or fixed? For example, today when I launched the Launcher, I received a notification about a new update, version 1.14.2, but there was no information on what exactly had been changed or corrected.

Another suggestion (in my opinion) would be to make it possible to download older versions of your Launcher. This way, if users encounter compatibility issues after updating, they can reinstall the previous version that worked without problems.

What do you think of these two suggestions?

This is a very good suggestion. We have this information on the launcher page but I'll also pass this to the development to see if it can be added to the launcher itself at the time of an update.

I've also added the link to the prior version on the launcher page.

According to the Launcher Page, it is showing version 1.15.0. That is the version for the Launcher itself I assume. I am currently running Firmware version 2.0 on my G1000 panels, and it now wants me to update to version 2.10. This page is not being kept up to date as to what the firmware is addressing. Would appreciate knowing what the firmware updates are adding to my panels.

A version number on the header of the Launcher would also be helpful. Or an About box to click on next to Exit that brings up the version number.

Thank You

Good point, we will add it to the enhancement. The details of the launcher and FW updates can be always found on the launcher page, but I agree, it would be better to have on the launcher page.

I had just previously posted that my units were not working, but after going into the C:\Program Files (x86)\FlightSimBuilder Launcher\firmware folder and launching the Fsb Device Update SW.exe and then selecting the G1000_FW_2.1_30.04.25.FSB for each unit, it came back and said successfully updated for both of them. Will go into the sim and take a look and report back.

Make sure to switch one unit to MFD
That was the issue. The firmware flashing must put them both back to PFD. Once I got that ironed out and reset one to MFD all is now good. Just a note, you may want to add to your directions that bringing up the Windows Game Controllers configuration helps tremendously when switching them over. All I heard when pushing the <-> buttons was sound. I initially got them backwards. The Game Controller screen lets you see what is actually going on. Thanks again, all is good here now.
