Does anybody has an issue where the launcher starts X-Plane but it's showing "Waiting" on the launcher window?

Thank you! Can you please try clicking "Configure Again" and "Install Again" on the launcher window and then restart the launcher and the sim?

I have tried 'configure again', all it does is changed color from green to blue and does not appear to do anything. I don't recall seeing an option to 'install again' in the launcher, but I can certainly run the installer again. On that note, /I have a question. I also have the GNS530 device from FSB, it was installed and working fine, but I disconnected the hardware and let a friend borrow it so he could practice getting used to a GNS530 in real life. Any chance that having the software still installed but not having the actual device connected would cause the sim to show waiting?

No, it won't impact anything. FlightSimBuilder Launcher has two buttons on the main window (left bottom corner). One for "Install Again" and one for "Configure Again"

Right, it's a little different for X-Plane. So did you try pressing "Configure again" and then restarting the launcher and starting X-Plane and your flight?

I did that several times, no effect. I also noticed something odd. When the X-Plane launcher is running, and I hover over the taskbar icon, I see two, one for the launcher and another for C172 gauges. Notice he one for the gauges has the blue FSB logo like I see on the MSFS one? I tried it with MSFS again and I only see the icon on the toolbar for the launcher, nothing for C172 gauges.

There was new update was released today addressing some of the x-plane issues. Can you please see if this resolves your issues?

You can find the most updated version of the launcher here https://flightsimbuilder.com/pages/flightsimbuilder-launcher

PK, think I found my issue.; and it wasn't the newer version of the launcher. In X-Plane, under Network, there is an option to allow/disable incoming traffic. Mine was set to 'disable'. Once I enabled that the launcher showed connected, and the gauges came to life. That said, everything seemed to function perfectly in the Cessna 172 model. However, in one of my non-Laminar planes (Piper Cherokee), the gauges seem to work fine (all except the turn coordinator) and none of the knobs have any effect. I'm guessing there is some configuration file that can be copied over to those planes?

Great! Thank you for the update.

For the third party planes, it might be easier to map it with something like Mobiflight
