G1000 Power Issue

Perhaps someone can assist.

I have the G1000 suite that I have had for about 3 weeks. All was well until I am now unable to power on the unit I was using as my PFD. I switched all cables from the unit I was using as my MFD to the non-functioning PFD unit with the same result. My PC also not showing the non-functioning unit in display settings despite switching HDMI ports.

I am attempting to power on the unit via the Left ⇄ button.

I sent a message via "Contact Us" today (7 Dec 2025) for guidance.

Thanks in advance to anyone who may know of any other troubleshooting tips to rule out a dead display.

You said you switched all the cables from one unit to the other. Did the same unit still not work, or did the issue move to the other one?

If everything works on unit 2, regardless of which power, USB, and video you use, and unit 1 still doesn't power up, unit 1 may be bad. I'd get with FSB via email to ask for assistance. Click the "Contact Us" button at the top of the FSB website and submit your request there.

Stan and the team at FSB have been very responsive to every request I've made, and I'm sure they'll be happy to help you figure out what's wrong.

That is correct. The same unit did not work.

I sent a message via the contact us link and am awaiting reply. I have no doubt they will help me out. I was hoping for a Hail Mary on the forum for any possibility I missed in fixing on my own.

In the meantime I will use the good unit.
