I am using FSB V1.14 which works on MSFS 2020 but I get no functionality (button presses or knob rotations) on MSFS 2024. One thing that I noticed is on the FSB application there is a message stating "SIM connection is starting". On MSFS 2020 I get an indications that a connection has been made (on MSFS 2024 the connection is started but not completed). I have tried all 3 versions of FSB on MSFS 2024 (now four) with the same results - no button functionality on MSFS 2024.

I'm really frustrated. Here is an excellent product that works on MSFS 2020 but doesn't connect on MSFS 2024. I have no idea as to why. I don't know if it is a firmware problem because there doesn't seem to be a way to check the firmware. On previous versions of FSB Launch the configure button does'nt seem to do anything. Now, on version 1.16, it's gone so I guess it really didn't do anything (it still does'nt connect). I'm assuming that it is now a firmware problem but again there isn't a way to check to see if that's the problem. I get no messages indicating that it IS a firmware problem. I would like to purchase the G1000 product but if FSB Hub doesn't connect that's just throwing money down the drain. It would be nice to get some diagnostic help. Thanks

Frustrated, Ron

OK, I discovered a tool that allows me to check the firmware level and I'm apparently at the correct firmware level. I also discovered a tool to allow me to check to see if the device is responding to button pushes (I expected this to be true because it works on MSFS 2020). It does respond to button pushes. So I am convinced that my unit is working properly. Now I am stumped to figure out why it is not connecting to MSFS 2024. When I launch the FlightSimBuilder Hub I get messages indicitating that the MFSF is running, that the GNS is OK, and SIM Connection: is starting. My question is, is there a parameter or setting that prevents the SIM connection from completintg?

OK, I ran FSB Hub against both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 to see if there was something that I was missing. I noticed that when I got to line 34 against MSFS 2024 there is a deviation. Don't know why. Maybe the developers could shed some light? The last 2 lineS of the log is me shutting down MSFS 2024. Then exiting FSB Hub.
