does not recognize my G1000;

I have two G1000 units but my system will only recognize one of them The units are a standard and a touchscreen unit. I can set up either the PDF or the MDF but not both of them. How do I get my system to recognize both of my G1000 units? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I really need some help here! these units are expensive! I use Spad.next and one unit is recognized there but not the other. Might spad.next be the issue? I have requested technical help from Flightsimbuilder and my credit card has been charged but I have no information about the timing. It is a bit frustrating.
Thanks for any help or information.

Yes...customer support is nonexistent with this company. I just paid $50 two days ago and got an email to schedule with Flight Sim Coach (3rd party support staff) who actually charges $100 per hour for support. They also have a disclaimer that they may not be able to fix our problems. Ridiculous to spend $2K on g1000 suites and not get any support from these guys. I should have went with RealSimGear, at least they have a phone number.

Same thing happened to me. Customers used to get high quality Tech service from flightsimbuilder but apparently not anymore. What good are expensive units that you cannot get repaired when they misfunction. I am 87 years old , love this hobby and now feel like I have wasted thousands of dollars. Personally I feel betrayed. I have already been charged and have little hope of seeing these units working correctly again.

Today I gave up and had a session with Nick at flightsimcoach. I have to report that it was well worth the price. Nick marcantonio is the goto guy for problems with the G1000 units. He fixed me up very nicely and I am back in business! Both my units now popout automatically when launching a flight. Now if we can only get the 600 Txi operational. I highly recommend this individual.

When we launched this series of products, we invested heavily in making the units as plug-and-play as possible. On average, setup takes less than five minutes.

That said, we understand that simulator-specific configurations or add-ons can occasionally create unexpected issues. To help with this, we’ve added detailed troubleshooting resources and also offer a $50 Expert Installation Service, where one of our engineers connects remotely and ensures everything is fully set up and working correctly.

Because only a small number of users require expert installation, we don’t keep an engineer on standby, nor do we hire sales staff. Instead, we’ve chosen to invest in innovation—continuous free software updates, new profiles, touchscreen functionality, and overall product improvements that are included as part of the package.

We also continue investing in the development of new profiles and release them to existing G1000 customers at no additional cost.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience. The expert installation option is available specifically to make the process smoother when needed. At $50, we’ve kept it optional rather than bundling it into the product price, which would increase costs for everyone.

We truly appreciate the feedback and will take it into consideration. I’m glad to hear everything is working well now.
