No MFD after latest Firmware update

So I updated the firmware to the latest without problem on both the PFD and MFD units. When starting the launcher to play however the MFD is nowhere to be found, there is only the PFD and Audio Panel detected? What gives?

update. Although the PFD is visible on startup in the launcher it does not work in game. So all in all I have two units now not working.

Was just getting ready to update myself, then came here to see what the changes were. I have paused the update until I know I am not going to get bricked.

Good to hear. Hope we can get working firmware soon. Or if this is just a fault on my system, hope not!

After the FW update, both units are reset to PFD so if you have two units, you just need to change second unit to MFD mode by pressing and holding right <-> button on the second unit.

That may be so but should they at least not show up in the Launcher as two separate units be it two PDFs. The Launcher only shows
PDF: OK (6)
Audio: OK (7)

it is only detecting two units!

Problem solved. It must have been a serial port conflict. I removed two custom made hardware switch panel units and back was the G1000 Thanks anyway
